With little to no answers from the emergency department, we were directly admitted to Children’s Hospital Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora – to the 8^th floor, immediate swarm of doctors and nurses to check him out and have worries about his high blood pressure and lethargy. A second IV is inserted into his leg, he received a chest X-ray, and is quickly transferred to the PICU for close monitoring. A Nasogastric Tube (NG tube) was placed in order to start providing nutrition and give him a chance to get off of IV fluids. He started taking feeds via his NG tube at 10pm.
